MetaO Smartlife Creator, Affiliate & Referral Terms
Last updated: [Last Updated: Month Day, Year]
Implementation note: This template is a business-ready legal draft and must be reviewed by qualified U.S. counsel before public launch, checkout activation, creator payout activation, or direct product sales. No disclaimer can eliminate mandatory consumer-protection, product-liability, privacy, advertising, tax, import, or IP obligations where applicable law imposes them.
1. Eligibility
MetaO may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate creator or affiliate access at its discretion. Participants must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws, platform rules, advertising rules, and these terms.
2. Tracking Links
MetaO may provide unique links, codes, tags, or tracking identifiers to measure visits, clicks, waitlists, inquiries, purchases, or other actions. MetaO is not responsible for lost attribution caused by cookie deletion, browser settings, ad blockers, device switching, incorrect links, platform restrictions, technical issues, or user behavior.
3. Commissions and Rewards
Commissions, rewards, credits, or payments are only earned where MetaO confirms valid, eligible, and properly attributed activity. Commissions may remain pending until orders are paid, fulfilled, not refunded, not canceled, not fraudulent, and outside the return or dispute period. MetaO may reverse, withhold, reduce, or cancel commissions for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate orders, self-dealing, fake traffic, bot activity, misleading promotion, policy violations, or suspected abuse.
4. FTC and Advertising Disclosure
Creators, affiliates, influencers, and users must clearly disclose any material connection with MetaO, a brand, or a product when sharing or promoting products. If you may receive commission, rewards, free products, samples, credits, discounts, or other benefits, your post, video, story, message, or content must clearly disclose that relationship. Acceptable disclosures may include "#ad," "Sponsored," "I may earn a commission," "Affiliate link," or other clear language ordinary users can understand. Disclosures must be easy to see or hear and must not be hidden at the end of a post, behind a "more" button, or only on a profile page.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Participants may not make false or misleading claims; make unapproved medical, health, safety, financial, or performance claims; imply official brand endorsement where none exists; use spam, bots, fake accounts, fake clicks, fake orders, or incentivized fraud; misrepresent availability, pricing, warranty, safety, or features; use infringing content; violate social media rules; promote products to inappropriate audiences; or engage in harassment, discrimination, illegal content, or deceptive advertising.
6. Content Rights
By submitting content to MetaO or tagging MetaO in campaign content, you grant MetaO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to repost, display, use, edit, excerpt, analyze, and reference the content for platform, marketing, reporting, and campaign purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You represent that you have the rights necessary to create and share your content.
7. Termination
MetaO may suspend or terminate participation, disable links, cancel rewards, or remove content for violation of these terms or suspected abuse.
8. No Employment or Agency
Participation does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, or joint venture relationship with MetaO.
