MetaO Smartlife Purchase, Shipping, Return & Marketplace Terms

1. Role of MetaO

MetaO may act as a product discovery platform, sales channel, marketplace facilitator, distributor, referral partner, or order coordination platform depending on the product and transaction structure. Some products are sold by third-party brands, sellers, distributors, or partners. Some orders may be fulfilled by third-party warehouses, logistics providers, or brand partners. The applicable seller, fulfillment method, shipping terms, return terms, warranty terms, and customer support process may vary by product.


2. Product Information

MetaO makes reasonable efforts to display product information in good faith. However, product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, availability, certifications, shipping estimates, warranties, return policies, and promotional offers may change without notice. Users should review product-specific terms before purchase.


3. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. MetaO or the relevant seller may cancel or reject orders due to stockouts, pricing errors, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, payment issues, compliance concerns, or other reasonable reasons.


4. Payment

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. By placing an order, the user agrees to the payment processor's applicable terms. MetaO does not store full payment card information unless expressly stated and handled by an authorized provider.


5. Shipping

Shipping times are estimates only. Actual delivery may be affected by warehouse processing, customs, carrier delays, weather, address errors, force majeure, product availability, or other circumstances outside MetaO's control. Risk of loss may pass according to the applicable seller or shipping terms.


6. Returns and Refunds

Return eligibility varies by product, seller, warehouse, category, condition, and applicable law. Some products may be final sale, hygiene-sensitive, customized, opened, used, damaged, battery-powered, regulated, or otherwise restricted from return. Refunds may be denied or reduced where items are used, damaged, missing parts, returned late, returned to the wrong address, or otherwise fail to meet return conditions.


7. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer or brand. MetaO does not independently provide product warranties unless expressly stated. Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, serial number, photos, videos, return inspection, or direct communication with the brand or manufacturer.


8. Product Use and Safety

Users are responsible for reading and following all manufacturer instructions, warnings, manuals, labels, charging instructions, installation instructions, age restrictions, safety notices, privacy settings, and applicable laws. MetaO is not responsible for injuries, property damage, data loss, misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper installation, failure to follow instructions, or use of a product outside its intended purpose, except to the extent required by law.


9. Recalls and Safety Issues

If MetaO becomes aware of a product recall or safety issue, MetaO may post notices, contact affected users where possible, disable sales, coordinate with brands, or take other reasonable actions. Users should contact safety@metaoriental.com to report safety concerns.
